Let Me Stay

Directed by Paulette Randall and designer Libby Watson, Let Me Stay is a celebration of life and love; a homage to Shirley McNamara, Queen of the Mersey

This work represents a love letter from the playwright, Julie McNamara, to her mother who lives with dementia.

A wonderful portrait that suggests Alzheimer’s does not have to mean a tragic end and apologetic withdrawal from the world. Rather think of it as a shedding of all care, with two fingers up at the world and a constant sense of glee.

A Vital Xposure production.

Recommended for ages 12+

The show includes BSL interpretation and Audio Description.

An Unlimited commission

There will be a post-show Q&A after the 2pm performance on Thursday 4 September.
